CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal / Ujjain: A special event titled “Saraswat Samman 2025” is being organized at Vikram University, Ujjain by the Emperor Vikramaditya University Faculty Welfare Council, Ujjain. The program will commence at 6:30 PM in the university’s Golden Jubilee Auditorium.

The primary objective of this event is to honor Executive Council members, the Vice-Chancellor, and other officials who have contributed significantly to the university’s overall development.

Program coordinator Hemant Lodwal shared that the university has achieved several remarkable milestones over the past two years. Among the most notable is the renaming of the university to “Emperor Vikramaditya University” by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, giving the institution a prestigious identity at the international level. Additionally, under the PM-USHA scheme, the university has been sanctioned a grant of ₹100 crore, which will enrich academic infrastructure and foster holistic campus development.

Vikram University has also set an example of academic discipline by conducting exams and declaring results on time.

During the ceremony, Executive Council members Rajesh Singh Kushwah, Varun Gupta, Manjusha Mimrot, Kusumlata Nigwal, Roop Pamnani, and Sanjay Verma will be honored with Saraswat Samman for their contributions to the university’s growth.

Moreover, Vice-Chancellor Arpan Bhardwaj and Registrar Anil Kumar Sharma will be felicitated for their commendable administrative and academic leadership.

The event will be attended by university faculty members, heads of departments, and other officials. It is expected to play a significant role in advancing the academic, cultural, and research environment of the university.
