CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal / Lucknow: On the occasion of the birthday of Sarvesh Pathak, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Shramik Kamgar Karmachari Mahasangh (affiliated with BJP), a grand nationwide blood donation camp was organized today across India.
In Uttar Pradesh, under the leadership of State President Ankur Singh, blood donation camps were held in all districts, where thousands of volunteers and common citizens came forward to donate blood voluntarily, contributing to the cause of humanity.
The main camp held in Lucknow saw large public participation. On this occasion, Ankur Singh, while addressing the attendees, described blood donation as “the greatest act of virtue” and said, “Blood donation is life donation—it can give a new life to someone in need.”
The aim of the camp was not only to increase blood availability, but also to dispel myths and misconceptions related to blood donation in society.
The organization also ran a public awareness campaign, which helped promote a new mindset and awareness around the importance of donating blood.
