Ahead of the proposed protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, party leader Saurav Das has made a major announcement. In a message posted on social media, he said he would meet protesters at and around Jantar Mantar in the next few hours. Das described the movement as a fight linked to the country, democracy and the future of the new generation.

In his message, Saurav Das said this was a fight to reclaim the country, save democracy and secure the future of the new generation. Expressing pride in his generation, he said the struggle would continue until a corruption-free system is ensured. Following his statement, political and administrative activity has intensified around the proposed protest at Jantar Mantar.

The protest is being organised against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Police have not granted permission for the demonstration. Despite this, CJP leaders have announced that they will take part in the protest. Party founders Abhijeet Deepke, Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das are also reported to have left Mumbai for Delhi.

Security arrangements have been tightened in Delhi in view of the protest. The administration faces the challenge of maintaining law and order while ensuring smooth movement for ordinary citizens. In the coming hours, security arrangements and the activities of protesters will be monitored in and around Jantar Mantar.
