CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: Under the leadership of Tribal Affairs Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, the Tribal Affairs Department organized a meeting of all wardens of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) student hostels operating in Bhopal district at Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Shyamla Hills.
Minister Shah emphasized the effective and successful operation of the hostels and ensured 100% implementation of departmental schemes. He directed improvements to the hostel functioning and instructed the development of action plans to enhance the quality of education provided in hostels and ashram schools.

During the meeting, Minister Shah announced the construction of three new hostel buildings for Scheduled Tribe students and discussed a new initiative for music and cultural activities aligned with the students’ interests. He also awarded ₹21,000 in cash to the warden of the best-performing hostel to encourage excellence.
The minister reviewed hostel resources, budget utilization, staff, and future requirements. Assistant Commissioner Prashant Arya was instructed to continuously monitor the implementation of scholarships, accommodation assistance, and other departmental programs. At the conclusion of the meeting, Deputy Commissioner of Tribal Affairs Nilesh Raghuvanshi expressed gratitude to Minister Shah.
