CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A group of 28 students from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Scope Global Skills University undertook an industrial visit to Kalpraj Techno Fab Pvt. Ltd. The primary aim of this visit was to connect students with industrial practices and provide them with hands-on experience of the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom.

During the visit, the students observed and understood the manufacturing process of various medicines produced by the company, including Vitacal-C, Calfol-5, Califlu-150, and Panto-Cal DSR. They also explored modern industrial equipment such as tablet punching machines, capsule filling machines, weighing balances, mixers, granulators, and packaging machines.

The students gained practical knowledge of the entire pharmaceutical manufacturing process, including raw material inspection, mixing, granulation, tablet compression, coating, and packaging. The importance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality testing was also emphasized, highlighting how these practices ensure the safety and quality of medicines.

The industrial visit was conducted under the guidance of faculty members Shrankhla Kumari, Dheeraj Prasad, and Ekansh Shukla.

Chancellor Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi of Scope Global Skills University stated that this visit is an integral part of SGSU’s experiential learning approach, aimed at equipping students with practical training and preparing them for successful careers in the pharmaceutical industry.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh and Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha emphasized that such industrial visits play a crucial role in the overall development of students and help them understand the real work environment. As the pharmaceutical sector continues to grow rapidly, it is essential for students to become familiar with industry practices. These visits provide students with opportunities to develop employment-oriented skills and prepare them for future professional challenges.
