On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) concluded a 5-day Skill Dialogue program with great enthusiasm. The theme of the event was “Youth Empowerment Through AI and Digital Skills.”

As part of the program, an industry interaction session was held, featuring Richa Sharma, Director of Kaushal Fabrication, and Nidhi Agrawal, Director of Steel Innovation Pvt. Ltd., as experts from the fabrication industry. They were joined on stage by SGSU Vice Chancellor Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, and AISECT Placement Head Uddipan Chatterjee.

In her address, Richa Sharma provided insights into the transformer manufacturing process, customized design, DC components, thermometers, and other technical tools. Nidhi Agrawal engaged in dialogue with students, sharing the journey from theory to real-world application.

Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha stated that SGSU is consistently building connections with industry to provide students with practical knowledge. Uddipan Chatterjee elaborated on the ongoing Fabrication Industry Program in collaboration with the industry and mentioned the rising demand for trained youth in the fabrication sector. SGSU is equipping students through industry-integrated courses to meet this demand.

Vice Chancellor Vijay Singh delivered the vote of thanks. On the same occasion, MoUs were signed with Kaushal Fabrication and Steel Innovation, and the monthly newsletter “Kaushal Mantra” and placement booklet “Placement Chronicle” were also launched.

Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi, in his message, said:

“Preparing youth for the challenges of the future is our top priority. This event is a powerful example of how education, technology, and industry collaboration can empower young people. We will continue to expand our initiatives in this direction in the coming years.”

The event commenced with an online AI-Generated Image Contest and Digital Poster Making Competition. It was formally inaugurated with special guests like Prof. V.S. Mehrotra, Head of the Curriculum Development and Evaluation Center at PSSCIVE; Anees Merchant, Executive VP and Global Head of Innovation at IP & Analytics Consulting; S.K. Parashar, GM at MAPSET; Ashish Kolarkar, CEO of Datatrek; and SGSU Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi.

A special knowledge session titled “The Art of Data Storytelling for Impactful Presentations” was conducted by Abhishek Gupta, General Manager at AISECT. He emphasized the importance of storytelling in professional communication and said that presenting data as a narrative is the key to effective communication.

Later, a panel discussion named “Youth Samvad – Voice of Skills” was held, where students shared their perspectives on the role of youth in nation-building and the importance of skill-based education. Participants included Akanksha Solanki, Divyansh Kulshreshtha, Kaveri Gulft, Vishwajeet Pandey, and Muskan Gaur.

On July 17, AI expert and coach Ashish Kolarkar led a session on “Boosting Productivity with Generative AI”, explaining how tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Leonardo AI, and Notion AI can help youth enhance creativity, knowledge, and skills, while saving time and increasing efficiency.
