CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An inspiring expert lecture on “Entrepreneurial Mindset” was organized by the Scope Entrepreneurship Club under the Students’ Activity Council at the Vanmali Auditorium of Scope Global Skills University.
The keynote speaker for the event was Uddipan Chatterjee, National Placement Head, AISECT.
Director Chatterjee provided in-depth insights on various aspects of entrepreneurship, such as startup culture, innovation, risk management, idea validation, MVP development, and funding opportunities. He emphasized that ambition, self-confidence, humility, and hard work are essential traits of a successful entrepreneur. Using examples of successful startups, he inspired students on how to turn their ideas into viable ventures.
The session was moderated by Ayush Kapse, an MBA student. The event was coordinated by Dr. Ayushi Tiwari, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies and Faculty Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Club.
During the session, Muskan Verma, a BBA student, presented her startup idea, which was highly appreciated by the faculty and the guest speaker. Following her, other students also shared their innovative business ideas, which included tech solutions, service-based enterprises, and social ventures.
Present at the event were Director of Student Welfare, Prof. Vinod Kumar Sharma, and Director of Academic Affairs, Prof. V.K. Gupta, who also guided the students and stressed the need to organize such events regularly.
Dr. Ayushi Tiwari shared that based on the students’ interest and active participation, the university plans to organize advanced sessions on business plan development, mentorship programs, and startup demo platforms. A proposal was also made to establish a startup incubation facility on campus.
Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, remarked that the university has always been committed to organizing such learning-centric and motivational seminars, and will continue to do so to provide students with a strong foundation and guidance in the field of entrepreneurship.
