CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: The concluding and certificate distribution ceremony of Summer Skills Carnival 2026, organised by Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) to promote creativity, innovation and skill development among youth, was held here. More than 90 participants received training in various creative and vocational skills during the month-long special programme and were honoured with certificates at the closing event.

SGSU Vice-Chancellor Vijay Kumar Singh, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha and Summer Skills Carnival coordinator Tina Tiwari were present at the समारोह. Participants gave attractive cultural performances during the programme, with solo and group dance emerging as special highlights. An exhibition of artworks and creative projects prepared by the participants was also organised, showcasing Madhubani, Mandana, clay art and other handmade creations.

During the ceremony, the entire journey and achievements of the Summer Skills Carnival were shared through a special presentation. Participants and parents expressed their experiences and appreciated the practical training, expert guidance and positive learning environment provided by the university.

On the occasion, SGSU Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi said that in the present times, not only academic knowledge but also practical and life skills are essential for success. He said initiatives like the Summer Skills Carnival provide young people an opportunity to identify and refine their talents, enabling them to face future challenges with confidence.

Congratulating the participants on successfully completing the training, SGSU Vice-Chancellor Vijay Kumar Singh said the university aims to promote skill-based education and make youth proficient in different fields. He said such programmes play an important role in developing self-confidence, creativity and leadership among students.

SGSU Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha said the objective of the Summer Skills Carnival is to provide students practical experience beyond traditional education. He said the university is continuously organising such innovative programmes that prepare youth in line with the changing needs of industry and society.

Summer Skills Carnival coordinator Tina Tiwari said participants were trained in fine arts, stage anchoring, cutting and stitching, macrame and crochet, AI bootcamp, cooking and baking, dance, cricket and football during the carnival. Through these training programmes, participants gained practical experience in creative, technical and life skills.

The objective of the Summer Skills Carnival was to provide participants experiential and skill-based learning beyond conventional classroom teaching. Through various interactive workshops and practical sessions, students developed a deeper understanding of creative, technical and life skills. They also developed important qualities such as self-confidence, innovation, leadership and teamwork.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, during which gratitude was expressed to all trainers, faculty members, students and parents who contributed to the success of the event. Through Summer Skills Carnival 2026, SGSU once again strongly demonstrated its commitment to skill development, experiential education and holistic personality development.
