CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Various programs are being organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Liberal Arts at Scope Global Skills University to promote the Hindi language during Hindi Utsav Fortnight. As part of this series, a Poetry Poster Workshop was held on Tuesday.

Starting the program, Tina Tiwari, Head of the Faculty of Humanities and Liberal Arts, highlighted the significance of Hindi Utsav and emphasized the importance of the Poetry Poster Workshop. She mentioned that poetry posters can be a medium to understand the nuances of poetry. The program’s coordinator, Vishakha Rajurkar Raj, provided the students with selected lines from modern Indian poets such as Muktibodh, Nirala, Alok Srivastava, Santosh Choubey, Dhoomil, Pash, Kedarnath Agarwal, and others, encouraging them to create poetry posters based on those lines.

The workshop’s coordinator and mentor, Arjun Kumar Singh, showed the students various types of poetry posters through a slideshow and explained the process of creating them in detail. He stated that poetry is the primary element in a poetry poster, while the images play a supporting role. However, the images do not mimic the poem but have their own existence, which makes the poetry poster impactful. He also mentioned that poetry posters can be a powerful medium for expressing emotions, giving a new dimension to the poet’s work.

The workshop was actively supported by faculty members such as Hina Arshad Khan (Head of Design School), Drishtipal Singh Parihar (Head of Humanities and Liberal Arts), Ravindra Srivastava (Head of Modern Science), Radhika Sahu, Megha Thapa, and Sudha Tiwari, who participated and encouraged the students, playing a significant role in the success of the event.

Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, and Vice-Chancellor Ajay Bhushan extended their best wishes to the team from the Faculty of Humanities and Arts. They emphasized that the development of creativity completes one’s personality and plays a key role in career success.
