CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Scope Global Skills University, Bhopal, through its School of Banking, Finance, and Commerce, organized an industrial visit for B.Com students to Oswal Denim Limited located in Pilukhedi, Rajgarh district. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with industrial operations, management practices, and real-world banking services.
During the visit, students gained insights into the critical roles of management, cost control, and supply chain management within the industry. From a banking and commerce perspective, they were able to connect classroom-taught theories with real industrial processes. Students also learned how industries rely on banking services such as working capital finance, term loans for machinery, trade finance, and export finance.
The industry management team shared details on financial planning, budgeting, and credit facilities to ensure smooth production and business expansion. Students also understood cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Vice President Mayank Bajpai introduced the organization, explaining its structure, training programs, placement opportunities, and recruitment process. Senior Manager Satyaprakash provided insights into accounting systems adopted in the industry and subsidies available to manufacturing units.
Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi emphasized that linking theoretical knowledge from the classroom with industrial exposure is extremely valuable for students. Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh and Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha described the industrial visit as a knowledge-enhancing and practical learning experience.
The successful organization of the program was supported by DSW Vinod Kumar Sharma, Transport Manager Nitin Dhemol, and Head of School Prof. Neeta Vaidande. The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Nidhi Richharia, providing students with an opportunity to gain both academic and practical knowledge. This industrial visit proved to be highly beneficial for students, not only academically but also for their career development.
