CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), in collaboration with Geeks of Gurukul, organized an offline bootcamp on Web 3.0 technologies at Vanmali Auditorium. The program was designed to train B.Tech and M.Tech students in cutting-edge technologies such as Web 3.0, blockchain, AI, and machine learning, with insights from industry experts.
On this occasion, IIT alumni Prof. Nischal, Prof. Khushboo, and Ajay joined as speakers.
Ajay, co-founder of Geeks of Gurukul and an alumnus of IIT Guwahati, said during the session, “Our projects have received strong support from IITians. We believe in teaching students through hands-on experience rather than textbooks. The IIT culture emphasizes learning by doing. In our view, skill-based knowledge is the most essential thing for industry.”
Vijay Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, stated, “We truly appreciate institutions like IIT for their significant role in educating India’s youth in modern technologies. With the rise of AI, knowledge of machine learning has become essential across all domains—be it agriculture, IT, commerce, arts, or humanities.”
During the event, the organizers also shared details about an MoU signed between SGSU and the drone industry, which will provide students with opportunities to learn about drone operations and related technologies.
Speaking on this initiative, SGSU Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha said, “Our partnership with Geeks of Gurukul will ensure that students are industry-ready from the very beginning.”
Director Rajkumar, Dean of Science and Engineering, elaborated that Geeks of Gurukul, as a collaborator, represents practical knowledge. “This initiative is special as it emphasizes practical learning over theoretical teaching,” he said.
