CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The grand inauguration of the Futsal Arena at Scope Global Skills University was marked by the launch of the Scope Futsal League. This exciting tournament will be held at the newly constructed Futsal Arena on the university campus until March 24. On this occasion, the official jerseys of the club teams participating in the Scope Futsal League were also unveiled.
The jersey launch ceremony was jointly conducted by University Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Sinha, and Chief Financial Accounts Officer Vineet Shukla. Captains of all club teams were also present during the event.
Speaking at the event, Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh said that Scope Global Skills University is committed not only to academic excellence but also to promoting sports and physical activities. With the inauguration of the Futsal Arena, we are confident it will serve as an excellent platform for young players.
He added that this thrilling competition positions Scope Global Skills University to establish a new identity in the sports world. The winners and runners-up of the tournament will be honored with cash prizes.
Seventeen of Bhopal’s top futsal teams are participating in the tournament, divided into four pools:
Pool A: Gorkha FC, Raw FC, Nawab FC, Maidan FC
Pool B: Kasol Tiger FC, Ankur FC, Godzilla FC, Peacemaker FC
Pool C: TTNS Junior FC, Smash FC, RNTU FC, SGSU FC
Pool D: Central Bay FC, Asperian FC, Shooting Star FC, Game On FC, Atomic FC
