CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The School of Management Studies of Scope Global Skills University (SGSU) organized an industrial visit to the Amul Plant located in Govindpura for MBA and BBA students. During the visit, students closely observed Amul’s entire production process—including milk procurement, quality testing, processing, packaging, and distribution. They also gained valuable insights into key aspects such as supply chain management, production efficiency, and quality control.
Officials at the Amul Plant provided detailed information on operational practices based on modern technology, automation, and the cooperative model, offering students a practical understanding of the industry. The students also acquired useful knowledge about production management, marketing strategies, and the role of innovation.
SGSU Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that the university’s objective is not to confine students to book-based knowledge alone, but to connect them with real-world industrial practices. He emphasized that this educational visit to the Amul Plant broadened students’ perspectives and provided them with an in-depth understanding of modern production processes, technological innovation, and the cooperative business model.

SGSU Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh and Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha remarked that the industrial visit to the Amul Plant proved to be extremely beneficial for students. Such opportunities not only enhance their practical understanding but also directly connect them with industry expectations and contemporary work practices. They reaffirmed SGSU’s commitment to providing experiential, real-world-based education through continuous initiatives.
Kumar Siddharth, Head of the School of Management Studies, stated that such industrial visits are an integral part of SGSU’s experiential learning policy, helping students develop an industry-oriented perspective and a deeper understanding of real operational processes.
