CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal, 21 February 2026: On the second day of the three-day annual cultural festival “Opacity’26 – Raaste” at the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh, the participation of alumni, interactive sessions, sports competitions, and cultural performances were the highlights.
The day began at 10:00 AM with an Alumni Meet, which continued until 1:00 PM. The chief guest, Dr. Sudhir K. Jain (Former Vice-Chancellor, Banaras Hindu University; Founding Director, IIT Gandhinagar), engaged with students and alumni, sharing insights on innovation, leadership, and institutional development. An alumni-led tree plantation drive was also conducted.

This was followed by a special discussion meeting chaired by the Director, with faculty members and Group ‘A’ non-teaching officers, focusing on the development and administrative aspects of the institute.
In the afternoon, various activities were organized, including an open mic session, Zumba class led by student Muskaan, and a skateboarding competition.
From 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the amphitheater hosted a musical performance by artist Aakriti Mehra, which captivated the audience.
According to the organizers, the final day of the festival will feature sports competitions, a fashion show, and the closing ceremony, along with other engaging programs.
