CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The second day of Vishwarang 2025 – Tagore International Literature & Arts Festival was a grand and thought-provoking event. The festival was inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav at Ravindra Bhavan. On the stage, Santosh Chaube, Director General of Vishwarang, the Vice-Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University, Vishwarang Director Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, and Dr. Arun Ramesh Joshi, Vice-Chancellor of CVRU Khandwa, were also present. During the inauguration, the Chief Minister emphasized that language and culture complement each other, and the purpose of literature is to spread joy and emotion. He highlighted the global recognition of the Hindi language and the sacred principle of “Live and Let Live” in Indian culture.

The second day commenced with Manglacharan performed by artists from the Dhrupad Sansthan, presenting ragas Bhopali, Kalind, Yaman, and Kedar, filling the auditorium with melody and grandeur. This was followed by a session on literature, art, and human consciousness in the age of AI. Nandkishore Acharya and Santosh Chaube engaged in a deep discussion on linguistic and cultural crises, the impact of generative AI, and the safeguarding of human consciousness.

In the New Skills session, motivational speaker Ankur Wariku shared his life experiences, conveying the importance of learning through struggle and experience. Cricketer Akash Chopra discussed the significance of Hindi commentary and the role of writing in conveying the history and emotions of sports. Lyricist Swanand Kirkire spoke about the simplicity of life and inspiration through music and words.

During parallel sessions, Ashok Bhaumik delivered a lecture on the role of war and anti-war paintings. In the poetry session, Kumar Anupam, Dr. Veena Singh, and Liladhar Mandloi explored literary depth and social concerns. On diaspora literature, Rama Takshak, Dr. Purnima Verman, and Kumar Suresh highlighted the importance of non-narrative literature through the lens of migrant life and memories. In the food session “Chatkharon Ki Chaupal”, Prof. Pushpesh Pant led an engaging discussion on cuisines and food culture.
