CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, organized the Second National Space Day. The event was held in memory of the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar south pole, which made India the first nation to achieve this milestone.
The ceremony began with a special exhibition organized by ISRO, inaugurated by Dr. Dhani Ram Rajak, Group Director (RTMG), Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad, in the presence of Mr. Shailendra Kumar, Group Director, Master Control Facility (MCF), Bhopal.

As part of the program, a poster-making competition for students was organized, in which more than 150 students participated. Additionally, a model competition and ideathon on the theme “Indian Space Station” saw participation from over 20 teams who presented innovative ideas.

The Role of ISRO’s Chandrayaan/Gaganyaan Missions – by Dr. Dhani Ram Rajak, ISRO, Ahmedabad
Roles and Responsibilities of MCF Bhopal – by Mr. Lalit Narayan Baniya, Manager, MCF Bhopal
These lectures highlighted India’s space missions, lunar exploration, and the vital role of MCF Bhopal in satellite operations.

In the evening, a prize distribution ceremony was held to honor the winners. The inaugurated exhibition showcased ISRO’s journey and India’s achievements in space exploration, inspiring future generations to contribute to science.
This event proved to be an important platform for raising awareness about science and space research in the country and motivating young talent.
