CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “After being granted the status of a deemed-to-be university, NITTTR Bhopal is now offering PhD and postgraduate programs from the current session. All these programs will be based on teaching-learning processes, learning by doing, learning by research, project-based, and problem-based learning. Addressing the teachers, Director Prof. C.C. Tripathi stated that our goal is for students to be recognized based on their knowledge, not just their degrees. Meeting students’ expectations is a hallmark of a good teacher.

There is a need for self-motivated, self-driven, and happy teachers who can bring about significant change in society. Teachers should do justice to their work and subject, take new initiatives, and conduct experiments. The National Education Policy has provided us with immense opportunities. Research should be useful beyond just earning a degree. Teachers should focus on students’ learning rather than paperwork.

The field of education is continuously innovating, and we need to think and act beyond conventional methods. Prof. Tripathi highlighted the changes in education from the Indian guru-disciple tradition and gurukuls to the present day. The event was attended by Dean Prof. Sanjay Agarwal, Prof. Ashish Deshpande, Prof. P.K. Purohit, along with faculty members and officials.”
