CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 725th birth anniversary of Saint Shiromani Sen Maharaj, the revered deity of the Sen community, was celebrated under the leadership of Vinod Sen, Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee and State President of the Hair Artists’ Cell, at Sahyog Sanstha.
The program began with the garlanding of Saint Shiromani Sen Maharaj’s portrait, followed by a community meal for the poor and underprivileged.
On this occasion, social worker and teacher Mahesh Sen shed light on the life of Saint Shiromani Sen Maharaj, stating that alongside devotion, he was a symbol of truth, non-violence, and peace. He emphasized that the message of divine devotion, harmony, and non-violence from the patron deity of the Sen community continues to guide people.
The event was graced by several dignitaries and leaders including Block Congress Committee President Suresh Yadav, City Congress President Irshad Gauri, senior Congress leader Ashok Yadav, Dr. Subhan Gauri, Sadik Qureshi, Vijay Singh Dangi, Vishnu Prasad Sen, Parmasukh Sen, Praveen Sen, Ramgiri Goswami, Chhutai Dada, Ravi Shankar Sen, Rakesh Sen, Om Prakash Sen, Bhupendra Sen, Appu Sen, Varun Sen, and many others.
