CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In response to the call from the Pradesh Congress Committee, the Kisan Nyay Yatra (Farmers’ Justice March) was organized in all districts of the state to wake up the government and demand the rights and entitlements of the farmers. Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh participated in the Kisan Nyay Yatra held in Indore.

Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath joined the yatra in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar in Dhar, former Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh Rahul Bhaiya in Bhopal, former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria in Jhabua, AICC CWC member Kamleshwar Patel in Rewa, Deputy Leader of Opposition in the MP Assembly Hemant Katare and former Leader of Opposition Govind Singh in Bhind, Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Singh in Morena, former Minister Jaivardhan Singh in Guna, former Minister Sajjan Singh Verma in Ujjain, and former MLA Neelashu Chaturvedi in Satna.

Mr. Patwari expressed his gratitude to Congress leaders, the millions of farmers in the state, Congress workers, and the general public for making the Kisan Nyay Yatra successful and impactful across all districts of the state. He acknowledged the significant participation in this yatra, which put pressure on the government.

The general public’s support was notable, with substantial public backing in cities and districts like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Katni, Damoh, Panna, Sagar, Bhind, Morena, Shivpuri, Datia, Shajapur, Shahdol, Anuppur, Ashoknagar, Jhabua, Dhar, Guna, and Satna. It is evident that the state’s farmers and the common public are frustrated with the anti-people and anti-farmer policies of the state’s BJP government.
