CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 developed a technical fault shortly after taking off from Mashhad Airport in Iran. The aircraft had departed from Mashhad for Kermanshah. According to initial reports, one of the landing gear tyres burst and separated during takeoff, and debris from it damaged one engine. The aircraft then began vibrating heavily.

As the situation worsened, the pilots declared an emergency and brought the aircraft back to Mashhad Airport. During the emergency landing, an inner section of the aircraft cabin ceiling was also damaged and fell down. Passengers’ belongings also began falling, creating panic inside the aircraft. Videos of the incident show passengers in distress.

The relief was that all passengers and crew on board remained safe, and there were no reports of any injuries. After landing, passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft, and arrangements were made to send them to Kermanshah on another flight. After the incident, the runway at Mashhad Airport was kept closed for some time for inspection. The actual cause of the technical fault in the aircraft is being investigated.
