CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh attended a meeting held in the VC room of the Collectorate under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anurag Jain. The meeting was also attended by CEO of District Panchayat, Ila Tiwari, along with other officials.

The Chief Secretary informed that from September 17 to October 2, Seva Pakhwada will be organized across the state, during which various departments will conduct public welfare activities. During this period, Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month) and the Healthy Women–Empowered Family Campaign will also be launched. Mr. Jain directed all departments to finalize their activities and ensure public participation. He said that the Urban Development and Panchayat Department should engage citizens in cleanliness programs, and the campaign should also include reducing edible oil consumption by 10%.

The Chief Secretary emphasized that all departments must work in coordination and submit reports of their activities in the prescribed format. Considering the upcoming festivals, district collectors were instructed to make proper arrangements for security and accident prevention.

It was informed in the meeting that on September 17, the Department of Public Health and Medical Education will organize a special blood donation camp. Additionally, mega health camps will be set up in eight cities. Those delivering outstanding work will be honored. The Women and Child Development Department will launch National Nutrition Month and an Obesity Control Program.

Furthermore, the Panchayat Department will organize five major activities under the Swachhotsav initiative. The Urban Development Department will showcase products of women’s self-help groups and develop Namo Parks, Namo Upvans, and Namo Vans. The Forest Department will plant 8 lakh saplings, while the Culture Department will organize ceramic art, music, drama, and painting competitions.

Thus, Seva Pakhwada will give a new direction to awareness, health, cleanliness, and development in the state.
