CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Collector Priyank Mishra reviewed the district-level action plan for the proposed ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026’. He directed the departments concerned to organise all activities as per the prescribed schedule. Under the campaign, 25 service activities related to health, cleanliness, education, safety and economic empowerment will be organised along with 13 major national activities.
Collector Mishra said the main programme of the campaign, ‘Ashirwad ka Diya’, will include the lighting of lamps in the Bhopal Municipal Corporation area. Lamps will also be lit at major river ghats, temples, dams, water treatment plants and the homes of beneficiaries of government welfare schemes in urban and rural areas of the district. He directed the Municipal Corporation, District Panchayat, Water Resources Department and Public Health Engineering Department to organise the programme.
Under ‘Seva Chitra’, painting and speech competitions based on Viksit Bharat-2047 and service activities will be held at the school level on September 19, cluster level on September 22 and development block level on September 24. The district-level exhibition and prize distribution programme will be held between September 25 and 30. Activities related to painting, speeches, essays, road safety and cleanliness will also be organised in schools, colleges, medical colleges and nursing colleges.
Under ‘Seva Smaran’, government Kala Pathak troupes, voluntary organisations, schools and college cultural teams will publicise welfare schemes and service activities through street plays and cultural presentations. Its district-level staging will be held on October 2.
The ‘Aangan ka Milan’ programme will be organised at Anganwadi centres from September 25 to October 7. Along with this, activities related to blood donation, health check-ups, organ donation awareness, nutrition and anaemia awareness, and women’s health and hygiene will be organised.
Collector Mishra directed that cycle rallies, bike rallies and marathons be organised under the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and that participation of local public representatives, youths, social organisations and citizens be ensured in urban and rural areas. Through the yatra, information on development achievements and service activities will be shared and a collective pledge for Viksit Bharat-2047 will be administered.
During the campaign, activities such as plantation, cleanliness, waste segregation, cleaning of water sources, plastic-free awareness, yoga and sports activities, career counselling, digital literacy for senior citizens, cyber security, de-addiction, honouring soldiers, support for persons with disabilities, voter awareness, road safety and Vocal for Local will be organised under ‘Seva-Mera Yogdan’.
Under the ‘Seva Setu Abhiyan’, camps will be organised at Assembly constituency and development block levels to provide citizens information on eligible Central and State government schemes, eligibility checks, applications and assistance at one place. These camps will be organised by linking them with the Mukhyamantri Jan-Vishwas Abhiyan.
Under ‘Seva ke Rang’, rangoli and human rangoli formations will be created at major public places. Through these, welfare schemes, national symbols and the concept of Viksit Bharat will be displayed. Under the National Innovation Challenge, youths, students, startups, innovators and educational institutions will be connected with innovation activities.
