CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: LN Ayurveda College and Hospital organized a series of seven-day programs. The events included a state-level essay competition, paper presentation, and poster presentation competition. Additionally, awareness campaigns in collaboration with Kala Kunj Foundation were held to raise awareness about breastfeeding. On the final day, a state-level seminar, Stanya Jeevanam 2024, was organized, with around two hundred participants from across the state. The inauguration session’s chief guest was Dr. N.K. Thapak, Vice Chancellor of LNCT University. Special guests included Dr. Shweta Anand and Dr. Priyanka Srivastava, professors at JK Hospital, along with Principal Dr. Sapan Jain, Director Dr. Vishal Shivhare, and Vice Principal Dr. Varsha Banjari. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp in front of Lord Dhanvantari. The successful conduction of the event was overseen by Dr. Shailesh Jain, Professor and Head of the Pediatric Department.

Dr. Shweta Anand began with a session on the normal physiology of breastfeeding, followed by Dr. Srivastava’s talk on complications in breastfeeding. Subsequently, Dr. Kapil Parmar presented on the topic “Breastfeeding is Life for the Infant,” and finally, Dr. Vasanti Guru from Pandit Khushilal Sharma Ayurveda College discussed the importance of breastfeeding. The closing session’s chief guest was Dr. Ajit Soni, Registrar of LNCT University, with special guests Dr. Vasanti Guru and Dr. Akhilesh Singhai, Dean of Academics at LNCT University. Certificates were awarded to the winners of the essay competition, paper presentation, and poster presentation during the closing session. Dr. Kapil Parmar, Assistant Professor Dr. Alka Chauhan, Medical Officer Dr. Pooja Patidar, and Raghunath Tijare contributed significantly to the program’s success.
