CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the fourth day of the 20th All India Emergency Medicine Conference (EMIndia-24) at AIIMS, the event offered a mix of lectures and poster presentations, providing a platform for exchanging ideas and also an opportunity for the institute’s alumni to relive old memories.

Today’s sessions included several practical lectures that discussed the latest advancements and challenges in emergency medicine. Renowned experts from across the country shared their research and clinical experiences, covering various topics such as trauma care, cardiovascular emergencies, pediatric emergencies, and the integration of technology in emergency response.

One of the highlights of the day was a presentation on “Artificial Intelligence in Emergency Medicine,” which explored the transformative potential of AI in improving diagnostic accuracy and patient outcomes in emergency situations. Another significant session focused on the management of complex trauma cases, where leading trauma surgeons discussed innovative surgical techniques.

In addition to the lectures, the poster presentations provided emerging researchers an opportunity to showcase their work. Topics ranged from rare case studies to new methodologies in emergency care. These presentations allowed delegates to engage in discussions and exchange ideas on improving emergency medical practices. Over 500 participants took part in these activities.

AIIMS alumni also had the chance to visit their respective departments. These delegates, now specialists in various medical fields, were able to rekindle old memories and revisit the classrooms where they once trained. As EMIndia-24 progresses, the conference continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting collaboration, innovation, and excellence in emergency medicine.
