Several trains have been rerouted following the derailment of the Sabarmati Express in the Jhansi Division.

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In the Jhansi Division, train number 19168 Sabarmati Express (Banaras-Ahmedabad) derailed near Govindpuri Station on the Kanpur-Bhimsen section. To ensure the safety of passengers and transport them to their destinations, a duplicate relief train is being operated via the route Kanpur-Etawah-Bhind-Gwalior-Jhansi-Bina to Ahmedabad.

Some passenger trains passing through Bhopal Division have been rerouted as per Bulletins 1, 2, and 3. The rerouted trains are listed below:

Train number 05326 (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Gorakhpur) rerouted via: Jhansi – Gwalior – Bhind – Etawah – Kanpur.

Train number 22537 (Gorakhpur – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) rerouted via: Govindpuri – Etawah – Bhind – Gwalior – Jhansi.

Train number 20104 (Gorakhpur – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus) rerouted via: Kanpur – Etawah – Bhind – Gwalior – Jhansi.

Train number 15024 (Yashvantpur – Gorakhpur) rerouted via: Jhansi – Gwalior – Bhind – Etawah – Kanpur.

Train number 15066 (Panvel – Gorakhpur) on 16.08.2024, rerouted via: Jhansi – Gwalior – Bhind – Etawah – Kanpur.

Train number 09465 (Ahmedabad – Darbhanga) rerouted via: Jhansi – Agra Cantt – Tundla – Etawah – Kanpur.

Train number 12591 (Gorakhpur – Yashvantpur) rerouted via: Kanpur – Etawah – Bhind – Gwalior – Jhansi.
