CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The SGSU Men’s Karate Team of Scope Global Skills University, Bhopal, delivered an outstanding performance at the South West Zone Inter-University Competition, bringing pride to the university. The athletes showcased exceptional skill, discipline, and dedication throughout the tournament.

In the 84 kg category, Piyush Pawar won the gold medal, enhancing the university’s prestige, while Vishnu Shah secured the bronze medal in the -50 kg category. Based on overall performance, the SGSU Karate Team was declared the second runner-up in the all-over tournament, a matter of pride for the university. This remarkable achievement further strengthened the university’s reputation in the field of sports.

On this basis, three SGSU athletes—Piyush Pawar (84 kg category), Vishnu Shah (-50 kg category), and Harsh Yadav (-75 kg category)—have been selected to participate in the AIU (All India Inter-University Tournament). This selection reflects their consistent hard work, discipline, and dedication to sports.

On this occasion, Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that the athletes’ success is a testament to their rigorous training and commitment.
