CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : With the aim of providing proper guidance and training to youth aspiring to build a career in the Indian Air Force, Scope Defence Academy, under Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), is launching an 8-week training batch starting from July 28. This program will offer comprehensive preparation for both the written exam and physical tests.
Under the guidance of former military officers, the training will emphasize discipline, leadership, and personality development. Experienced officers from the Indian Air Force and Indian Army are mentoring students for various defence exams including Agniveer Vayu, NDA, CDS, AFCAT, and SSB. Special concessions are also being offered to the children of serving and retired military personnel.
The distinguished team of trainers includes Major General Shyam Srivastava (Retd., Army), Colonel K.P. Singh (Retd., Army), Captain R.M.L. Somal (Retd., Indian Navy), Psychologist and Scientist Ramesh Chandra, Wing Commander Manish Mishra (Retd., Air Force), Wing Commander Arun Pandey (Retd., Air Force), and Lieutenant Commander Deepika Singh (Retd.).
Speaking on the initiative, Major General Shyam Srivastava (Retd.) said, “At Scope Defence Academy, we provide training that closely mirrors actual military training — be it discipline, physical fitness, or interview preparation. Our goal is not just to help students pass exams but to shape personalities ready for national service — confident and disciplined for life.”
Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, stated, “Scope Defence Academy is more than a coaching center; it’s a commitment to instill values like service, courage, and leadership in youth. Our training approach prepares them physically, mentally, and emotionally to face the challenges of armed services with confidence.”
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Vijay Singh and Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha added, “The vision of SGSU is — building character through discipline and defending the nation through that character. Our dream is to awaken the spirit of a true soldier in every youth, who sees national service not as a job but as a duty.”
