CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A three-day national-level online workshop was successfully organized by the School of Education and the Institution Innovation Council of Scope Global Skills University under the AI Mission, as part of the India Impact Summit 2026, on the theme “Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Teaching–Learning Process.” The objective of the workshop was to empower teachers, students, and trainee teachers by enhancing their academic and professional competencies in the field of artificial intelligence.
The workshop began with an inaugural session in which Prof. Dr. Neelam Singh from the School of Education addressed the participants and highlighted the role of artificial intelligence in higher education and its future possibilities.
On the first day, Dr. Ayushi Sharma from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda delivered a detailed lecture as the keynote speaker on the use of AI in the teaching–learning process. She emphasized the importance of AI in the context of the National Education Policy 2020, digital literacy, research, and teaching innovation. The session was chaired by Dr. Sanju Sharma, Head of the School of Education, who encouraged teachers to adopt innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies.
On the second day, Sandeep Poddar, a Google Classroom and LMS expert from AISECT Headquarters, Bhopal, conducted practical sessions on Google Classroom, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and interactive content creation. These sessions included lectures along with hands-on training and group discussions, which participants found extremely useful.
On the third day, Prof. Dr. Shivamathaiyya Mallaiah from Bangalore University, Karnataka, conducted an interactive session on AI assistance for students and teachers. The session was highly engaging and participatory, with in-depth discussions on the academic applications of AI.
Teachers, students, and trainee teachers from various parts of the country actively participated in the workshop. During the event, Dr. Siddharth Chaturvedi, Chancellor of Scope Global Skills University, stated that the program provided an effective platform for academic dialogue, professional development, and knowledge exchange, enabling participants to gain new perspectives on the use of AI in their academic lives.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vijay Singh and Registrar Dr. Sitesh Kumar Sinha for their guidance and support, which made the successful organization of the workshop possible.
In the valedictory session, Dr. Sanju Sharma shared feedback from the participants, all of whom expressed satisfaction with the workshop’s content and organizational arrangements. Finally, participation certificates were distributed to all attendees. The organizers concluded by thanking the resource persons, university administration, and participants, appreciating the successful conduct of the program.
