CNN Central News and Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: Female athletes from Scope Global Skills University (SGSU), Bhopal delivered an outstanding performance at the All India Inter-University Penchak Silat Women Championship, winning the bronze medal, a matter of immense pride for the university.

The national-level competition was held in Punjab, with teams from 59 universities across the country participating. During the event, the athletes showcased their skill, technique, and sportsmanship. SGSU’s team scored 415 out of 500 points, securing third place in the points-based evaluation system and marking a strong presence.

Representing SGSU, Ekta Sisodia, Vaishnavi Lodhi, and Harshali Banjara participated in the championship and earned the bronze medal through discipline, consistent practice, and dedication. On this occasion, Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi stated that the students’ success reflects their hard work and commitment. The university gives equal importance to sports and education, and this achievement serves as an inspiration for other students.

He further expressed confidence that SGSU athletes will continue to perform exceptionally at national and international levels, bringing pride to both the university and the country. The university family, including Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, DSW Vinod Kumar Sharma, Head of Education Sanju Sharma, Sports Managing Director Mamlesh Karma, and Sports Officer & Assistant Professor Nalini Khare, congratulated the athletes and wished them a bright future.
