CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The ‘World Color Dialogue’ was organized at Hotel Palash Residency, Bhopal, to share the immense success of historic events such as ‘World Color Sri Lanka’, ‘Aarambh – Mumbai’, and ‘World Color Bhopal 2025’, as well as to highlight the global reach of the 7th edition of Vishwarang. This intimate and interactive program was conducted under the auspices of the Vishwarang Foundation and Rabindranath Tagore University, with participation from senior creators, organizers, and collaborators associated with literature, art, and culture.
The chief speaker, senior litterateur and Vishwarang conceptualist Santosh Chaubey, stated that Vishwarang is not merely a festival but a powerful initiative for global human dialogue through language, literature, and culture. He explained that Vishwarang has provided an international platform for Indian languages and cultural consciousness through cultural events in Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Mumbai, and Bhopal. He credited the festival’s success to dedicated teamwork, institutional collaboration, and creative discipline.
Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi Vats, co-director of Vishwarang, remarked that the festival continues to expand the possibilities of new artistic and cultural experiments. She indicated that future editions of Vishwarang could include special events such as a ‘Choir Festival’. She highlighted Bollywood singer Sona Mahapatra, who, upon learning about Vishwarang’s concept and objectives, prepared extensively and performed songs in 10 languages. A planned 90-minute performance extended to 150 minutes due to the audience’s emotional engagement, turning it into an unforgettable musical experience.
Other distinguished guests, including senior litterateur Mukesh Verma, Dr. Jawahar Karnavat, Director of the International Diaspora Literature Center, and senior writer Vinita Chaubey, editor of Chaturvedi Chandrika, shared their experiences of the event. The program was hosted by Vinay Upadhyay, Director of the Tagore World Art Center.
