CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In a significant move ahead of the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections, Shiv Sena has announced the launch of the ‘Mahavijay Samvad Abhiyan,’ a statewide campaign aimed at taking the achievements of the Mahayuti government directly to the people. Starting from Friday, September 27, 2024, the campaign will be conducted across the state by three wings of the party: Yuva Sena, Mahila Aghadi, and Shiv Sena Social Media. The announcement was made by Shiv Sena MP Dr Shrikant Shinde during a press conference at Balasaheb Bhavan.
Taking government work to every household
Dr Shinde emphasised the party’s commitment over the past two and a half years to communicate the work done by the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He explained that ‘Mahavijay Samvad’ is designed to further this outreach. “One leader or deputy leader will visit an assembly constituency every day, covering five areas and holding meetings to directly engage with the public,” said Dr Shinde. The campaign’s first phase will last five days, beginning tomorrow.
Yuva Sena’s role in the campaign
Led by Yuva Sena Working President Purvesh Sarnaik, the youth wing will kick off its campaign from Bhiwandi on 27th September, covering six Vidhan Sabhas each day. Branch visits and public gatherings will be held to galvanize support. The Yuva Sena’s statewide tour, which includes Marathwada, Western Maharashtra, and Konkan, will start on October 13.
