CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal, organized an inspiring alumni meet and live talk show through its former student association, Shoga. The event aimed to connect former students with their alma mater and to inspire current students through the experiences and achievements of the alumni.
The program began with a lamp lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana. The event witnessed the dignified presence of the college management, principal, faculty members, and invited alumni. Principal Dalima Parwani stated that the achievements of former students reflect the legacy of any institution, and current students will continue to advance this legacy.

The main attraction of the event was the live talk show, featuring five distinguished alumni of the college: Chandra Panwar (B.Sc. Computer Science), Ritu Manwani (BCA), Neeta Agrawal Pawar (M.Sc. Chemistry), Yashika Yadav (B.Com Honors), and Neha Ahelia (M.Sc. Biotechnology). These alumni are now serving in prominent and high-ranking positions across various fields.
During the talk show, the alumni shared memories of college life and explained how education, discipline, and co-curricular activities guided their professional careers. They motivated the students to cultivate self-confidence, continuous learning, and the importance of hard work.
The event also featured a rapid-fire round, which included fun and thought-provoking questions like library or canteen, hard work or smart work, morning study or night preparation, adding excitement to the program.
Finally, the contributions of all alumni were acknowledged with gratitude. The program proved to be a strong example of women’s achievements, empowerment, and inspiration, embodying the true spirit of International Women’s Day. This initiative not only strengthened the bond between alumni and current students but also paved the way for inspiring future generations.
