CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The prestigious Shri Satya Sai Women’s Autonomous College, Bhopal, celebrated its Golden Jubilee and Annual Awards Ceremony with grandeur. Accredited with A+ by NAAC, the institution marked its 50-year academic journey by honoring students who excelled in various fields.

Chief Guests & Distinguished Dignitaries

The event was graced by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav as the chief guest. Special guests included State Minister Krishna Gaur, Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, and All India President of the Satya Sai Seva Organization, Nimish Pandya.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp and Vedic chants. Director Dr. Pratibha Singh and Principal Dr. Archana Srivastava welcomed the guests by presenting saplings as a token of appreciation.

Speeches by Chief Guests

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav emphasized,

“Shri Satya Sai Baba always prioritized women’s education. Truth and discipline are essential in life. The youth play a key role in societal change, and the students of this institution are making significant contributions in this regard.”

State Minister Krishna Gaur stated,

Best Undergraduate Student: Garima Patel (B.Com, 3rd Year) received the “Shrimati Bhagirathi Amma Gold Medal.”

Best Postgraduate Student: Bhavna Goswami (M.A. English) received the “Shri Baburao Pimplapure Gold Medal.”

Best NCC Cadet: Shyama Priya Singh (B.Com, 3rd Year)

Best NCC Camper: Tineshwari Netam (B.Com, 3rd Year)

Best Female Athlete: Kashish Pal (B.Com, 3rd Year)

Best NSS Volunteer: Palak Parmar (B.Com, 3rd Year)

Republic Day Parade Award: Anshika Joshi (B.Com, 2nd Year), who represented the college in the Kartavya Path Parade in New Delhi.

Successful Conclusion

The event was hosted by Dr. Anupama Chauhan (HOD, Hindi) and Dr. Smita Nair (HOD, Mathematics). It was coordinated by Student Union Incharge Dr. Meena Parashar and Dr. Shobhana Srivastava.

The event witnessed the presence of Vice Principal Dr. Renu Mishra, faculty members, parents, and students.
