CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Shri Satya Sai Women’s College, Bhopal, a prestigious A+ grade institution of the state, the Internal Quality Cell and the Department of Chemistry jointly organized a one-day National Workshop on “Exploring the Power of Monowave-Microwave Reactor.”

The Chief Guest of the inaugural session was Dr. Vivek Katare, Executive Director, Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal. Subject experts included Dr. Anita Dutt Konar, UGC Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi Technological University, Bhopal, and Vikesh Chauhan, Regional Sales Manager North, Anton Paar, Delhi.

College Director Pratibha Singh extended her best wishes to the organizing committee, while Principal Archana Srivastava delivered the welcome address, highlighting the importance of the workshop. Convener Nina Arora presented the introduction, emphasizing the objectives of the workshop, stressing the importance of keeping the Earth green and pollution-free, and underlining the significance of the Monowave-Microwave Reactor and its diverse applications.

In his address, the Chief Guest stated that Monowave and Microwave Reactors can bring about a revolution across various fields and open new opportunities. These reactors are designed to provide energy through different processes and are used in chemical synthesis, biology, and medical applications. A live demonstration showcased their performance, applications, and significance. Students were given detailed insights into their usage.

In the technical session, Dr. Anita Dutt Konar explained the technical capabilities and applications of the reactor, interacting with the students to ensure a complete understanding of its functioning.

The workshop provided valuable knowledge to the students, enabling them to apply it in the future.

Key patrons and organizers included Jambu Bhandari (Chairman, College Governing Body), Pratibha Singh (Director), Archana Srivastava (Principal), Dr. Anju Bajpai (Law Principal), Renu Mishra (Vice-Principal), Nina Arora (Head & Convener, Department of Chemistry), along with faculty members Kiran Shandilya and Supriya Singh from the Chemistry Department. Scholars and students from various colleges were also present.

The program was successfully conducted by Co-Convener & Assistant Professor Varsha Saxena, with the vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Kiran Shandilya.
