CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Siddharth and his wife Aditi Rao Hydari are seen together in Netflix’s “Lust Stories 3”. The two have also drawn attention for their intimate scenes in the film. Siddharth has now said in an interview that the shooting of such scenes is far more organised and professional than what appears on screen.
According to Siddharth, intimacy coordinators are present on set during the filming of intimate scenes. Only the necessary actors and crew members remain on set, and rules related to safety and consent are followed. He said physical contact between actors is also carried out according to protocols decided in advance.
The actor also said that despite being husband and wife in real life, both of them have to follow professional rules on set. According to him, in front of the camera they are not portraying their personal relationship, but the characters in the film. Aditi also said that on set, she and Siddharth are identified more as actors than as husband and wife.
Siddharth said the comfort and safety of actors during a shoot are the most important factors. He said no actor should be forced to do anything to which they have not agreed in advance. The role of the intimacy coordinator is to ensure this safety and consent. Meanwhile, the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj said the story attempts to present desire and relationships from a woman’s perspective. “Lust Stories 3” features four separate stories, presenting love, attraction and the complexities of relationships in different ways.
