CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At present, Salman Khan’s film ‘Sikandar’ is creating quite a buzz, and the reason behind this buzz is the audience’s reaction. Several arguments were made before the release of ‘Sikandar’. It was predicted that the film would cross the ₹100 crore mark within just four days of release, making it the highest-grossing film of 2025. However, soon after its release, the reality of ‘Sikandar’ began to unfold. The film hasn’t received the expected response from the audience. It seems that ‘Sikandar’ is struggling to make big earnings just like the recently released film ‘Chhava’.

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, ‘Sikandar’ was released on March 30 during the occasion of Eid. Made on a budget of ₹200 crore, the film failed to achieve its desired box office numbers even on its opening day. ‘Sikandar’ has been witnessing a decline in earnings with each passing day. The film earned ₹26 crore on its first day, ₹29 crore on the second day, and ₹19.5 crore on the third day. On the fourth day, the business dropped to ₹9.75 crore, and by the fifth day, it dwindled to ₹6 crore. Now, the early numbers for the sixth day have been released. According to Sacnilk’s report, ‘Sikandar’ did a business of approximately ₹3.75 crore on the sixth day.

The total earnings of ‘Sikandar’ over six days have now reached ₹94 crore. Surprisingly, despite completing six days at the box office, the film has still not crossed the ₹100 crore mark in India. Entering the ₹100 crore club itself has become a challenge for the film. Meanwhile, with a budget of ₹200 crore, the producers are also concerned about how the film will recover its costs and generate profit.

Apart from Salman Khan, ‘Sikandar’ also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in key roles. Actor Sathyaraj, who played the role of Katappa in ‘Baahubali’, appears in a villainous role in this film.
