CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal/ Indore: In the election process of the new executive committee of Shri Vaishnav Vairagi Samaj Multipurpose Trust (Registered), which has been continuously working for society and the nation, the following office bearers were elected: Sitaramdas Vaishnav as President, Gopaldas Bairagi Pujari as Vice President, Anant Mahant as Secretary, Krishnakant Bairagi as Joint Secretary, and Jamnalal Bairagi as Treasurer. These office bearers will serve the Trust and provide guidance from 2025 to 2028.

The election process commenced with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp before the image of Lord Shri Vishnu and offering garlands to the portrait of the Trust’s founder, the late Narottam Das Vaishnav, in accordance with Indian and Sanatan traditions. As per the rules described in the Trust’s constitution, the election was formally conducted by Election Officer S.D. Madhavacharya, along with Assistant Election Officers Kapil Mahant and Dhruv Vaishnav.

The election program for the new executive committee was held at Shri Vaishnav Samaj Bhavan, Airport Road, Indore. After the smooth completion of the electoral process, the names of the newly elected office bearers were announced. All elected officials were administered the oath of office by the election officers, welcomed with due honor, and extended best wishes for their new tenure. Following the elections, the responsibilities of the Trust were formally handed over to the President and office bearers.

It is noteworthy that since 1998, the Trust has been continuously working for society and has undertaken several significant initiatives such as community marriages, priest training, mass Upanayan ceremonies, cultural programs, movements for priest land rights, talent felicitation ceremonies, and the construction of community buildings.
