CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Free Training for Skill and Personality Development of Students in Madhya Pradesh Government Colleges

To further enhance the skills and personality development of students studying in government colleges of Madhya Pradesh, the Higher Education Department is providing them with free training. This training will be conducted by the SGBS Unnati Foundation, Bengaluru, and is aimed at final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students. The training program will be conducted across all government colleges in Madhya Pradesh and will last approximately one month. The initiative is part of the Higher Education Department’s effort to promote holistic student development, in partnership with the SGBS Unnati Foundation.

Training Provided to Over 10,000 Students

Under the Swami Vivekananda Career Guidance Scheme, final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students are being trained in various skills. So far, 345 training sessions have been conducted across 137 colleges in the state, benefiting over 10,000 students in skill enhancement and personality development.

Special Focus on Interview and Job Skills

According to Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, Anupam Rajan, students pursuing traditional courses are being specially trained in job interview techniques, communication skills, and personality development to prepare them for employment opportunities.
