CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Bhopal: The annual memorial event, Smriti Kalp, being held in memory of noted storyteller and Padma Shri awardee Malti Joshi, will be organised this year on Sunday, June 14, at Pritam Lal Dua Auditorium, Indore, from 10 am.
The programme will have two sessions, in which senior litterateurs will discuss Malti Joshi’s personality and literary contributions, and readings of her stories will also be held.
This year, noted film actor, screenwriter and director Atul Tiwari will attend from Mumbai, while senior litterateur and editor Lakshmishankar Bajpai will come from Delhi. Well-known television personality and litterateur Ranjana Chitle and noted motivational speaker and theatre personality Manjusha Rajas Johri will present readings of Malti Ji’s stories. Renowned litterateur Jyoti Jain, Anita Saxena and educationist Madhura Phadke will share their reminiscences.
The event is being organised by the Somnath and Malti Joshi Charitable Trust.
