CNN Central News & Networks / ITDC India ePress / ITDC News /Agencies/ Bhopal: Sony India has expanded its professional display portfolio with the launch of the new Bravia Professional Display BZ-P series. The series includes 16 models, designed keeping in mind the needs of corporate offices, higher education institutions, retail establishments, transport hubs and the public sector. Available in screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches, the displays are equipped with 4K HDR technology. According to the company, their starting price is Rs 1.40 lakh.
Models introduced in three categories The new series has been divided into three categories: BZ40P, BZ35P and BZ30P. BZ40P is the flagship category, offering 700 nits brightness and up to 47 percent anti-glare capability. The BZ35P category offers 500 nits brightness and 25 percent anti-glare capability, while BZ30P models come with 400 nits brightness. Select BZ40P and BZ35P models also comply with the IP5X standard for dust protection.
Better viewing experience even in bright light The series uses Sony’s Deep Black Non-Glare technology and artificial intelligence-based XR signal processing. Its aim is to reduce reflections from external light falling on the screen and make colours, images and text clearer. It also offers a wide viewing angle, helping maintain picture quality even when viewed from different directions.
Energy saving and easy installation According to the company, the new series consumes up to 31 percent less power than the previous BZ-L model. It features AI-based backlight control and an energy-efficient optical system. Because of the integrated system-on-chip structure, a separate set-top box is not required for digital signage. In addition, the slim and lightweight design, centrally placed VESA mounting holes and handles provided in larger models make installation and transportation easier. The series also includes an ECO Dashboard to monitor energy consumption. Select models use up to 43 percent Sony recycled plastic material.
