Sooraj Pancholi Clarifies His Stand in Disha Salian Death Case

CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: After the CBI registered an FIR in connection with the death of late celebrity manager Disha Salian, actor Sooraj Pancholi has broken his silence on the allegations being made against him. In a long statement posted on social media, Sooraj said he had no connection with Disha Salian’s death and had nothing to hide.

In his statement, Sooraj Pancholi claimed that he had never met Disha Salian in his life, either directly or through any medium. He also said he had never met Aditya Thackeray and had no contact with him. The actor expressed anger over discussions in the media and on social media in which his name is being linked to the case.

He said it was improper to damage a person’s image without solid evidence. Sooraj has called for a fair and transparent investigation into the matter.

The CBI registered an FIR and began its investigation into Disha Salian’s death following directions from the Bombay High Court. The FIR is examining the names of several people and the allegations. However, determining a person’s role in an investigation and proving allegations are separate matters.
