CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: The South West Zone Inter-University Karate Men’s Championship 2024-25 is being hosted by LNCT University, Kolar Road, Bhopal, under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities. This five-day event will run until December 7, 2024.
Over 650 male players and 200+ coaches and managers from 125 universities in the South West Zone are participating in this prestigious tournament. The championship’s inauguration will be graced by the Chief Guest, Madhya Pradesh Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare, Vishwas Sarang, along with LNCT University Chancellor Anupam Chouksey, Vice-Chancellor N.K. Thapak, and LNCT Group Sports Director Pankaj Jain.
Sports Director Pankaj Jain highlighted that LNCT University successfully hosted the South West Zone Inter-University Karate Men’s and Women’s Championship 2023-24 last year, which was conducted with complete fairness. This achievement led to the university being selected once again by the Association of Indian Universities to host the men’s championship this year.
This championship will feature both individual and team events.
