CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 12th Convocation Ceremony of the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal will be held today. The President of the Institute of Town Planners India and former Additional Chief Town Planner of the Government of Rajasthan, Pradeep Kapoor, will be the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion.
On this occasion, degrees will be awarded to 237 students (130 undergraduate, 103 postgraduate, and 4 PhD scholars). These include degrees in Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Planning, Master of Architecture (Conservation), Master of Architecture (Landscape), Master of Architecture (Urban Design), Master of Design, Master of Planning (Environmental Planning), Master of Planning (Transport Planning and Logistics Management), Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
During the ceremony, two Excellence Medals, eight Proficiency Gold Medals for best performance in respective departments, and appreciation certificates for nine best theses and three theses will also be awarded.
An exhibition showcasing the academic work of graduating students from various departments, along with other selected academic projects, will also be organized at the convocation venue.
