A special cleanliness activity is being organised in the Bhopal division of West Central Railway under the Cleanliness Fortnight and Special Campaign 6.0. The objective of the campaign is to keep railway premises clean, beautiful and orderly, and to ensure a clean environment by removing unnecessary posters, banners and hoardings put up in public places and writings made on walls.

Under the campaign, all concerned departments of the Bhopal division will remove unnecessary posters, banners and hoardings put up at railway stations, subways, railway boundary walls, railway colonies and other public places. Special attention will also be paid to cleaning unauthorised writings on walls and stains caused by spitting gutkha.

Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria said participation of all concerned departments is being ensured in the campaign so that cleanliness can be maintained in railway premises and passengers and railway employees can be provided a clean and better environment. The railway administration has called upon all concerned departments to implement the campaign effectively and maintain continuous awareness towards cleanliness.
