“Special Event Organized at Rajiv Gandhi Technical University on Kargil Vijay Diwas”

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At the University Institute of Technology, Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, a special event was organized by the NSS unit on Kargil Vijay Diwas within the university campus. The event was attended by the university’s Public Relations Officer Dr. Shashiranjan Akela, NSS Program Officer Dr. Avinash Rai, and NSS volunteers. Certificates of participation for various activities conducted by the NSS unit were also distributed to the volunteers.

Addressing the event, Dr. Shashiranjan Akela emphasized that Kargil Vijay Diwas is a day to remember and pay tribute to the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the nation with the spirit of placing the country first. He highlighted the importance for the younger generation to set life goals and choose role models. He noted that every individual has a role model, and soldiers who, while being away from their families, consider India’s land not just as a piece of land but as their mother, and who dedicate themselves to the nation’s internal and external security, should be revered. These soldiers’ lives and dedication should serve as an ideal for the youth, encouraging them to consider how they can contribute their best to society and the country.

During the program, certificates of various activities organized by the NSS unit were distributed to the volunteers by the guests. The program was introduced and the vote of thanks was given by NSS Program Officer Dr. Avinash Rai.
