CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a special yoga session was organized on Saturday at Scope Global Skills University, located in Misrod. Members of the university community participated enthusiastically in the event. Yoga expert Sanjay Solanki guided participants through various yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation practices.

The event was graced by the presence of the university’s Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh, Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha, along with faculty members and students.

The yoga session began with Tadasana and Surya Namaskar, followed by a detailed discussion by Sanjay Solanki on the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of regular yoga practice. He stated, “Consistent yoga practice helps maintain lifelong health and balance.”

Vice-Chancellor Vijay Singh extended his greetings on Yoga Day, stating, “Yoga is not just physical discipline; it is also a path to mental stability and self-reflection. Youth should adopt it into their daily routine to move towards a balanced life.”

Registrar Sitesh Kumar Sinha emphasized, “In the fast-changing lifestyle and increasing stress, yoga is the only means that provides inner peace and health. It enhances both physical energy and mental clarity.”

On this occasion, University Chancellor Siddharth Chaturvedi also shared his views, stating, “Yoga is not only our cultural heritage but a scientific method that paves the way for holistic development. Scope Global Skills University not only promotes technical and vocational education but also fosters awareness of mental balance, discipline, and holistic health among students through such events.”

The program concluded with group meditation, and the participants resolved to make yoga a regular part of their lives.
