CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Keeping in view the additional passenger traffic during Pitru Paksha, Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath Puja, West Central Railway will operate special trains from Rani Kamlapati station to Gaya, Rewa and Danapur for the convenience of passengers. These additional rail services will provide extra travel options during the festive period and will also help reduce passenger load on regular trains.

1. Rani Kamlapati – Gaya Pitru Paksha Special: three trips each way. Train number 01661 Rani Kamlapati – Gaya Special will run from Rani Kamlapati on September 27, October 2 and October 7, 2026. The train will depart from Rani Kamlapati at 15:20, reach Narmadapuram at 16:34 and Itarsi at 17:05, and arrive at Gaya at 14:30 the next day.

On the return journey, train number 01662 Gaya – Rani Kamlapati Special will run from Gaya on September 30, October 5 and October 10, 2026. The train will depart from Gaya at 15:30, pass Itarsi at 14:05 and Narmadapuram at 14:43, and reach Rani Kamlapati at 16:15.

This train will halt at Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Sihora Road, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Bhabua Road, Sasaram, Dehri-on-Sone and Anugrah Narayan Road stations.

2. Rani Kamlapati – Rewa Puja Special: four trips each way. Train number 02191 Rani Kamlapati – Rewa Weekly Superfast Puja Special will depart from Rani Kamlapati at 22:15 on October 17, October 24, November 7 and November 14, 2026, and reach Rewa at 07:20 the next day. On the return journey, train number 02192 Rewa – Rani Kamlapati Weekly Superfast Puja Special will depart from Rewa at 12:30 on October 17, October 24, November 7 and November 14, 2026, and reach Rani Kamlapati at 21:15 the same day.

This train will halt in both directions at Vidisha, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Maihar and Satna stations. The train will have a total of 22 coaches, including air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches.

3. Rani Kamlapati – Danapur Special: 11 trips each way. Train number 01667 Rani Kamlapati – Danapur Bi-weekly Special will depart from Rani Kamlapati every Monday and Friday from October 12 to November 16, 2026, at 14:25 and reach Danapur at 09:15 the next day. A total of 11 services will be operated in this direction. On the return journey, train number 01668 Danapur – Rani Kamlapati Bi-weekly Special will depart from Danapur every Tuesday and Saturday from October 13 to November 17, 2026, at 11:20 and reach Rani Kamlapati at 10:50 the next day. Eleven services will also be operated in this direction. This train will halt in both directions at Rani Kamlapati, Narmadapuram, Itarsi Junction, Pipariya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Sihora Road, Katni Junction, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara stations. This special train will have a total of 24 ICF coaches, including air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches.

Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria said the additional rail services are being operated keeping passenger convenience during the festivals in mind. Passengers have been urged to make maximum use of these special trains.
