CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a major opportunity for Class 12-pass youths preparing for government jobs. SSC has issued a notification for recruitment to a total of 2,536 Group-C posts under the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2026. The posts include Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and DEO Grade-A.
The online application process for this recruitment began on September 7, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can apply until October 7, 2026. The last date for depositing the application fee has been fixed as October 8. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. The age limit has been set at 18 to 27 years, while reserved categories will get relaxation as per rules. Candidates will be selected on the basis of Tier-I, Tier-II, skill/typing test and document verification. Depending on the post, the salary may range from ₹19,900 to ₹92,300. The application fee for male candidates in the General, OBC and EWS categories is ₹100, while SC, ST, persons with disabilities, ex-servicemen and women candidates have been exempted from the fee.
