CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Conclusion of Stamp Exhibition and Competitions Organized Jointly by Postal Department and AIIMS Bhopal on World Health Day
On the occasion of World Health Day, the series of various competitions and a postage stamp exhibition jointly organized by the Postal Department, Bhopal, and AIIMS Bhopal concluded today. During a simple ceremony held at AIIMS Bhopal, the Postal Department also released a “Special Cancellation Mark” and honored students from various schools and philatelists for their participation.
After the formal welcome of the guests, Director Prateek Behera addressed the gathering, emphasizing that bones function as the pillars of our body, and hence, we must take all necessary measures to keep them strong.
Director Ajay Singh highlighted the importance of mental health and said that in the current scenario, along with physical health, taking care of mental health is also essential. He stressed the need to set standards for mental well-being and advocated for a healthy family environment for children while urging to keep them away from social media addiction as much as possible.
On this occasion, Director of Postal Services, Pawan Kumar Dalmia, shared his thoughts on the collaborative organization of the stamp exhibition and the competitions.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Postmaster General Vineet Mathur expressed his gratitude to Director Rajneesh Joshi, Dean Academics at AIIMS Bhopal, for supporting the event. He stated that stamp collection is a valuable hobby and should be widely promoted among children. In this regard, philately accounts are being opened for school students by the Postal Department. Congratulating the students who participated in the competitions, he advised them to get at least 8 hours of sleep, play more, and stay away from social media.
