State-Level Folk Dance Competition to be Held on 16th January

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: In compliance with the letter from the Madhya Pradesh Government’s Higher Education Department, a state-level folk dance competition (solo and group) will be organized at Nutan College, Bhopal, on Thursday, 16th January 2025, from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Participants from all ten divisions of the state who secured first and second positions in the divisional-level competitions will take part in this state-level folk dance competition.

Each division will send 20 participants, 3 accompanists, and a team manager, making a total of over 200 student participants from the ten divisions. Arrangements for their accommodation, meals, and primary medical aid will be managed by Sarojini Naidu Government Girls’ College, Bhopal.

The event will witness the esteemed presence of the college principal, faculty members, public representatives, dignitaries, and members of the state-level apex committee on Indian knowledge traditions.

This state-level event will showcase the beauty of folk dances rooted in Indian culture and traditions.
